Good but getting worse...
This cafe used to be well known as THE place to get good, decent food with big portions at cheap as chips prices. The food is still great but over the last year the hygiene has gone downhill. I have had dirty plates, dirty cutlery, dirty cups and on one occasion have had a mouldy barmcake! I had to mention the problems on several different occasions and the owner was very apologetic and gave my meal free for the inconvenience but it shouldn't happen at all. The service is excellent and the huge pot of tea tastes great and is very reasonable. If the hygiene wasn't an issue this place would get full marks as everything else is perfect.
