I am just writting to explain what a fantastic experience we had at the boston a few weekends ago. The entertainment was fantastic and really made my holiday. I will definately return using blackpool promotions whom i beleive gave me excellent value for money.

I decided to book a trip with Blackpool Promotions in September 2007 after seeing their advert in the local paper. The price seemed almost to good to be true, and it was!! Things started badly and went down hill from there, the coach driver, who picked us up in what can only be described as a "shed on wheels", was one of the rudest and most arrogant men I have ever met. He snapped at my wife for complaining about the coach seating. It looked like someone had been sick all over it and the staff hadn't been bothered to clean it up. Once we arrived we were shoe horned into the Boston Hotel, from the outside the hotel admittedly looked fantastic, although a little far from the main attractions. On arrival in reception the staff all had faces on them like wet fish, hardly the "welcome to blackpool" attitude you would expect from a quality Blackpool hotel. The Baits Motel in psycho had nothing on the mood created by this place!! Eventually we were shown to our room, if u can call it a room, I have seen bigger matchboxes than this. There were no wardrobes nor plug sockets on the walls. There are tribes in the deepest parts of the amazonian jungle that offer better accommodation. The Flintstones would feel right at home here! There was no need for a mattress on the bed, there was a 5 cm layer of dust that would quite happily support a human beings weight. We managed to stay out of the hotel for the most part of our holiday and decided in the end, to get a friend with there car to drive us home. This was the worst holiday I have ever taken and I would suggest that you stay away from Blackpool Promotions if you ever decide to take a trip to Blackpool. There are plenty of bus shelters along the promenade that provide more modern accommodation and less hassle!!
