Dismal customer service!

I went for a meal with my girlfriend on Saturday night and we had booked a table for 8pm. We got there at about 7:55pm and we were just behind a couple that hadn't booked however the restaurant seated them straight away. We were then told we'd have to wait because they were busy! After about an hour of waiting another couple walked in and again got seated straight away! After complaining about this we were then seated at 9:30pm! Once we had waited an hour and a half to get a table (even though we'd booked!!) we thought that they would try and serve us quickly, we were wrong! It then took half an hour to get any food! No apology was offered and no one who worked there seemed to care that we'd booked a table for 8pm and we hadn't had any food until 10pm! The food was ok, nothing special, but after waiting that long to get served you're past the point when you can eat much and you're just left with indigestion! My advice is to avoid this place like the plague (especially when Pulcinella's italian restaurant is a couple of minutes away and is very good). The staff at La Dolce Vita do not care about customers and have no idea about customer service.
