Feng Shui Hotel

You may think you are entering just another regular B & B but upon arrival something is noticeably different. Never mind the airy, clean open light feeling of the entrance and bar area, but the rooms also reflect the same. The energy is one of tranquility I almost forgot to look out the window at the sea! Hosted by an efficient and friendly staff it is a great place to stay and close to all local amenities while not being right in the centre of the craziness of Blackpool! Food is good and price is right.

It does not feel like a hotel, it feels like being at home. In the Feng Shui Hotel you cannot find the cold designed and impersonal atmosphere as in the usual stereotype kind of hotels. You sense the special private charme right when entering through the main door. The rooms are very lovely and feel warm and comfortable. Especially I loved the most charming historical elevator and the view out of one of the ocean facing hotelrooms. It is very relaxing to sit down at the bar on the groundfloor while having a drink or to enjoy while feeling like a king or queen having a meal in the emperorstyled lunch- and dinnerarea. On cloudless evenings it is magnificent to watch the romantic sunsets over the ocean. Enjoy like me a walk with breathing the fresh beach air on the promenade, which is directly in front of the Hotel. Action in the evening is provided by the Pleasure Beach Park which is in walking distance. Guests who would like to forget the stress of life as qickly as possible can choose to book one or more of the diverse healing therapies and beauty arrangements offered at the Feng Shui Hotel. I personally enjoyed a Reiki treatment, an Indian headmassage and a Theta healing therapy. While the latter offered me a most fascinating and very special journey into the past with amazing positive effects afterwards, which I would like to keep private... ;o) Looking forward to travel again to Blackpool soon, Antje Schwaericke, Germany
